overview

The mission of the UPOC (Unlimited Potential Opportunities Choice) Employment Project is to create opportunities for education and employment to allow all individuals with disabilities to live and work independently in the community.

The vision of the UPOC program is for all individuals with disabilities to be gainfully employed. The program focuses on individual specialized services, such as developing job interests, evaluating work skills, on-the-job training and job coaching. The program will teach and train individuals to be skilled, knowledgeable employees who contribute to the success of both their employer and the community.

The UPOC program is funded through the Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC) Pathways II grants. The primary function is to offer vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals with various types of disabilities to obtain employment. UPOC services are available in Coshocton, Tuscarawas and Muskingum Counties.
