The UPOC program and all of its services are person centered. A counselor will work with each individual, and together they will create an Individual Plan for Employment (IPE).

The IPE will consist of various services based on the individual’s employment goal. Some of the available services include:

• Career counseling
• Career exploration
• Job shadowing and job try-out
• Summer work experience
• Work assessments
• Job coaching
• Job development and placement
• Specialized career training certification courses
• Post secondary education
• Supportive services: transportation, uniforms, tools
